About Us
The Dexter Community Orchestra is a musical group located in Dexter, Michigan. The DCO is dedicated to cultural enrichment through live symphonic music. The DCO seeks to provide the many benefits that can be achieved only through live musical performance. We are proud to offer a place for volunteer musicians to play and an opportunity for individuals and families to experience the magic of live classical music. We are looking for musicians and volunteers to help make our season a resounding success.

We are
incorporated as a nonprofit in Michigan and are tax-exempt under
section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
We adopted our bylaws in 2006 and
amended them as needed. You can also view our member
handbook.
Music Director
Our music director is acclaimed cellist and conductor Anthony
Elliott. Maestro Elliott took his position with the Dexter
Community Orchestra in the 2010-2011 season, stepping into the shoes
of our founding conductor, Donald Parrish (1938-2011).
