Minutes: Board Meeting May 23, 2007

The DCO Board met at 6:30 (1/2 hour before the orchestra gathered for the
annual meeting and potluck) to discuss the stipend to be offered to the
Music Director, Don Parrish. The board voted on and approved $1000.00
for this matter.
 

Minutes: Annual Orchestra Meeting 2007

The 2007 slate of officers was presented and approved by acclamation:
Sally Vandeven, vice president; Fran Wakefield, treasurer; Erika Nelson,
board member

The Orchestra members thanked Don Parrish with a gift of $1,000.00 for
his leadership and faithful work during the 2006/7 concert season. Since
there was no one to write an official DCO check, the actual presentation
had to be delayed.

There was no treasurer report at this time.

Discussions: Publicity and drop in attendance at concerts. Many ideas -
no specific action except that Erika Nelson was elected to the board as
someone with experience in these matters.

Details of the gazebo concert were discussed and there was a short
rehearsal following the potluck supper.
